Some Experience on Architectural Rendering Composition

How to draw a good architectural rendering? I sum up 5 important aspects. It's the right 5 aspects that we usually make mistakes on. That is composition, material, lighting, entourage and colors.
Here I list some problems that we usually encounter.

Composition:
Avoid too full. If a 3d rendering is only a big building and no edge for it, it must be a failure and not nice.
Avoid too close to the middle. It's not a big mistake. But from the aesthetics, we'd better not do this.
Avoid too close to the side. We'd better not deviate to the centre of gravity.
Avoid too big foreground, which makes our architecture smaller. If the foreground is too large, we'll feel that "A presumptuous guest usurps the host's role."
Vertical architecture do never be decorated with a person or a tree, while transverse one can do.

Material:
We usually encounter the following problems.
Glass is unlike real glass; water is turbid; some little models are forgotten to set material, such as road edge; texture size is not suitable... usually, a little bit helps a lot. So we should be serious on every step.
Some other problems, when I sum up, I share with you. Here I attached some of our architectural visualization. Hope you like.

3D Rendering Production

Today I summarized our 3d rendering production process. I sum up 6 steps: Get CAD drawing-Know designers' design intention-Make model-Lighting-Render-Post Process.
Model
We shouldn't pursue light and texture blindly as to a rendering, expecially a pure commercial rendering/architectural visualization. The majority know little about this. So as to those laymen, only the precision can reach a strong visual impact results. Sometimes some unfancied items can improve the whole rendering. Because they can vivify the image.

Interior Rendering
Lighting
It's flexible. My thought is that Bright-Cold, Dark-Warm, Distant-Virtual, Near-Solid. Such thought is used for daytime. Start with the point, you won't be confused. It'll be easy to control. Usually office is lighted with cold color, decorating with some warm color, which can make office more comfortable. In a word, we should reach a state "Close your eyes and you will see".

Post Process
I mainly use Potoshop to finish my 3d renderings. Some peple think that post process is a cheat. But I think PS can improve the rendering effect. Sometimes short render time can be compensated by PS. It's a good solution.
