Here I list some problems that we usually encounter.
Composition:
Avoid too full. If a 3d rendering is only a big building and no edge for it, it must be a failure and not nice.
Avoid too close to the middle. It's not a big mistake. But from the aesthetics, we'd better not do this.
Avoid too close to the side. We'd better not deviate to the centre of gravity.
Avoid too big foreground, which makes our architecture smaller. If the foreground is too large, we'll feel that "A presumptuous guest usurps the host's role."
Vertical architecture do never be decorated with a person or a tree, while transverse one can do.
Material:
We usually encounter the following problems.
Glass is unlike real glass; water is turbid; some little models are forgotten to set material, such as road edge; texture size is not suitable... usually, a little bit helps a lot. So we should be serious on every step.
